IMMERSIVE MEETINGS · CAMPFIRE PROTOTYPE LIVE

Meet somewhere
better.
Around the fire.

Vybza is a universal immersive communication platform — join a shared 3D woodland campfire, appear as a seated character with a TV-head showing your live webcam, and talk with spatial presence. Easy enough for a grandparent, architected for enterprise.

01 / SYSTEMS

A meeting that feels like a place.

Nine systems behind the first experience — a browser-based immersive video meeting around a woodland campfire.

SYS-01 · SCENE

Woodland Campfire World

A shared 3D woodland environment with trees, terrain, and a central campfire — rendered client-side with React Three Fiber.

SYS-02 · AVATARS

TV-Head Avatars

Each participant is a seated character with a TV-head displaying their live webcam feed — you're present, not a grid tile.

SYS-03 · PRESENCE

Head-Turning & Gaze

Avatars turn their heads toward the active speaker, so attention and direction read naturally across the fire.

SYS-04 · MEDIA

LiveKit Realtime Audio/Video

Production-grade WebRTC audio and video through LiveKit — the transport layer under the immersive scene.

SYS-05 · AUDIO

Active-Speaker Emphasis

Whoever speaks gets visual and spatial emphasis — the conversation flows like people talking around a real fire.

SYS-06 · JOIN

Pre-Join & Controls

A pre-join screen for camera and mic selection, then in-meeting controls — mute, camera, leave — always at hand.

SYS-07 · STATE

Client-Side State

Settings, scene, and media state managed client-side — no plugins, no installs, just a browser.

SYS-08 · PLATFORM

Scalable Architecture

pnpm workspaces, Turborepo, TypeScript, PostgreSQL — Phase 1 is built so later phases extend it without a rewrite.

SYS-09 · FOR EVERYONE

Universal by Design

Families, friends, teams, schools, and groups — never exclusively corporate, never dumbied down either.

03 / ROADMAP

Phase 1 done.
Phase 2 next.

Phase 1 · PROTOTYPE ZERO

The campfire works

The immersive-meeting core is implemented: scene, TV-head avatars, head-turning, LiveKit media, active-speaker emphasis, pre-join and controls.

Phase 2 · ACCOUNTS

People and rooms

Persistent accounts, named rooms, and privacy controls — the same campfire, with doors and keys.

Phase 2 · SAFETY

Safe by default

Moderation, safety tooling, and group policies — built for schools and families from the start, not bolted on.

Phase 2+ · COMMERCE

Built to extend

The Phase 1 architecture is designed so commerce and enterprise deployment extend it without a rewrite.

04 / PRICING

Pull up a stump.

Pricing to be announced. Hosted tiers and self-hosting arrive with Phase 2.

05 / FAQ

Fire-side questions.

What is Vybza?
A universal immersive communication platform. The first experience is a browser-based immersive video meeting: everyone joins a shared 3D woodland campfire, represented by a seated character with a TV-head showing their live webcam.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The 3D world, avatars, and media all run client-side in your browser. Audio and video ride LiveKit's WebRTC transport. One link, anyone joins.
What's with the TV heads?
Your avatar has a TV for a head that displays your live webcam — so you keep a real face and real presence, but you're a character sitting around the fire instead of a tile in a grid.
Who is it for?
Everyone — families, friends, teams, businesses, schools, classes, and social groups. It's easy enough for a grandparent to use, yet architected strongly enough for future enterprise deployment. It should never feel exclusively corporate.
What's the status?
Phase 1 (Prototype Zero) is implemented: scene, avatars, head-turning, LiveKit media, active-speaker emphasis, pre-join, and meeting controls. Phase 2 adds accounts, rooms, privacy, safety, and commerce.
What's under the hood?
pnpm workspaces + Turborepo + TypeScript; React + Vite + Three.js + React Three Fiber on the web; Node.js + TypeScript + PostgreSQL on the API; LiveKit for realtime audio/video.
